PCB Fabrication
Layer count, stackup, impedance, material, surface finish, copper weight, drill tolerance, and high-layer-count questions.
Send XFPCB the right information at the beginning of your project and we can respond faster with clearer DFM, BOM, assembly, and quotation feedback.
Our support process is designed for engineers, sourcing teams, product companies, and electronics manufacturers who need practical help before placing a PCB or PCBA order. We can review fabrication files, clarify stackup questions, check assembly requirements, discuss component sourcing, and help you prepare a complete request for quotation.
Support is most effective when your files are complete. For bare PCB projects, include Gerber files, drill files, board thickness, copper weight, material preference, surface finish, quantity, and lead-time target. For PCBA projects, also include a BOM, pick-and-place file, assembly drawing, component sourcing preference, testing requirements, and any firmware or programming notes.

BOM review, component sourcing, SMT/THT assembly, BGA/QFN inspection, functional testing, and production preparation.
Quantity, lead time, delivery terms, confirmed technical requirements, repeat production needs, and documentation requirements.
| Project Type | Files and Details to Prepare |
|---|---|
| Bare PCB fabrication | Gerber files, drill files, layer count, thickness, copper weight, material, surface finish, solder mask color, quantity, and delivery target. |
| Multilayer or HDI PCB | Stackup, impedance requirements, blind/buried via structure, BGA pitch, minimum trace/space, material family, and inspection expectations. |
| PCBA manufacturing | Gerber files, BOM, pick-and-place file, assembly drawing, DNP list, component sourcing rules, test method, firmware notes, and packaging needs. |
| Repeat production | Previous order information, revision change notes, target annual volume, cost target, quality history, and any approved vendor list. |
